Description

Shop by animal

  • CBD for dogs — tinctures and treats, with guidance on choosing between formats and strengths for different sizes of dog.
  • CBD for cats — the three tinctures, and why the 250 mg is usually the right bottle for a cat.
  • Pet care — the full range together, with help choosing a format, strength, and formulation.

What we make

Tinctures

  • CBD Oil for Pets — isolate-based and THC-free, in 250, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 mg. The only tincture we make at 250 mg, which makes it the practical choice for cats and small dogs.
  • CBD & CBG Oil for Pets — 1:1 CBD to CBG, in 500 mg (250 + 250), 1,000 mg (500 + 500), and 2,000 mg (1,000 + 1,000). THC-free.
  • Full Spectrum CBD Oil for Pets — 500, 1,000, and 2,000 mg. Retains hemp's complete cannabinoid profile including trace THC below the federal limit.

Treats

  • CBD Dog Treats — peanut butter flavored, in 5 mg and 10 mg, 30 to a jar either way. Pick the strength to suit your animal's size; same number of treats, half or double the CBD in each.

How to give it to them

Tinctures — shake well, then add drops to food or into your animal's mouth directly if they'll tolerate it. Food is easier for most and there's no disadvantage. Wet food or something with a bit of fat holds the oil better than dry kibble, where it runs to the bottom of the bowl.

Treats — give as you would any treat, or break up and mix into a meal. They halve cleanly if you want a smaller amount.

Our measurement chart is on every product page and lists servings by body weight starting at 2 lbs, so cats and small dogs are covered directly rather than scaled down from a larger figure. Start at the low end for your animal's weight and stay there for a while before changing anything — consistency over several weeks tells you more than a larger amount for a few days.

Store everything in a cool, dry place well out of reach. These smell like food, and an animal that gets into a jar will finish it. If that happens, call your vet.

Tested every batch

An independent lab tests every batch for cannabinoid potency and for THC, pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents, and we publish the certificate of analysis before a product goes on sale. That matters more with pet products than most people realise: your animal can't tell you if something's off, so being able to verify the milligram count and contaminant screen yourself is worth doing.

Things to know before you buy

Dogs and cats aren't the same

Cats are smaller, more sensitive across the board, and they metabolise things differently — so don't scale a dog amount down by weight. Our 250 mg tincture exists partly for this reason: at a cat's size you're working with fractions of a dropper, and measuring that accurately is far easier from a low-concentration bottle. Our cats collection goes into it properly.

One formulation contains THC

Our full spectrum tincture retains trace THC below the federal limit, the same as the human version. The isolate and CBD + CBG tinctures are THC-free. Animals are considerably more sensitive to THC than people are, so if you're uncertain, the isolate tincture is the straightforward choice — and worth raising with your vet either way.

Tincture or treat

A tincture lets you give an exact amount and adjust it, which is why most vets prefer them. A treat is fixed at 5 or 10 mg, but it's far easier with a fussy animal that spits out anything unusual in their bowl. If yours will take drops in food, start there — you'll have more room to adjust.

Pet products are formulated separately

Our pet range starts at 250 mg where the human range starts at 1,000, and it's flavored and dosed for animals rather than people. Don't substitute a human product for a pet one or scale a human amount down by guesswork — the concentrations are different, and some flavorings and sweeteners that are fine for people aren't for animals.

Give it time

Most customers who stay with a pet product use it consistently for several weeks before deciding anything. A single dose tells you very little, and animals don't report back.

When to check with your vet

Worth a conversation if your animal is on medication, is elderly, or has an existing health condition — cannabinoids interact with several drug classes commonly prescribed to dogs and cats. Same goes if you're unsure where to start on strength, since your vet knows your animal's weight and history better than a chart can.

Ingredients and allergens

Our treats are peanut butter flavored and contain peanut butter and whole dried eggs — both common allergens in dogs as well as people. The full list is garbanzo bean flour, potato flour, tapioca starch, flaxseed, peanut butter, quinoa, canola oil, whole dried eggs, MCT coconut oil, and hemp-derived CBD. They're made without wheat, corn, or soy.

Our tinctures use organic MCT coconut oil. If your pet has a diagnosed food allergy or is on an elimination diet, check the full ingredient list on each product page with your vet before starting anything.

FAQ

CBD interacts with your pet’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) to promote balance and calmness, supporting their overall well-being without harsh chemicals.
Look for organic, hemp-derived options like tinctures, treats, and balms—such as those from Leanna Organics—designed specifically for pets.
Consider your pet’s size, preferences, and needs. Tinctures offer flexibility, while premeasured biscuits are perfect for convenience.
There are three types of CBD oil: full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate. Full-spectrum includes other cannabinoids like CBG and trace THC, ideal for pets with broader needs. Broad-spectrum offers cannabinoids without THC, while isolate is pure CBD. Choose based on your dog’s needs—Leanna Organics provides isolate and full-spectrum options, all third-party tested with a certificate of analysis.
Start with 2mg to 8mg, depending on your pet’s size. For dogs over 100 lbs or those needing extra support, you can begin higher. Administer 1-2 times daily for at least 3 weeks for best results. Hemp oil for pets is natural and effective—start low and adjust as needed for puppies, kittens, or older pets.
Yes, hemp oil for pets can help ease nervousness and promote a calmer demeanor. CBD for dogs acts fast—within about 10 minutes, you may notice your pet feeling more at ease and comfortable.
Absolutely! Hemp oil for pets hydrates and nourishes dry or irritated skin when applied topically. Use CBD pet balm daily, though training may be needed to prevent licking. Oral CBD, like tinctures, supports overall skin and coat health, making it softer and more resilient over time.
For cats, start with 2-4mg of CBD due to their smaller size. You can test with 1-2mg initially, increasing by 0.5-1mg if needed, based on how your cat responds.
Our premeasured CBD biscuits, treats, and chews come in 5mg and 10mg options, making it simple to give your pet a consistent serving. For small pets (under 20 lbs), start with a 5mg treat once daily. For medium to large pets (20-100 lbs), try a 10mg treat once or twice daily. Offer it as a snack or reward—most pets love the taste! Monitor your pet’s response and adjust as needed after a few days.

Full-spectrum CBD oil contains additional cannabinoids like CBG and trace THC for enhanced benefits. Administer it the same way as regular CBD oil: 2-4mg for small pets or 5-8mg for larger ones, 1-2 times daily. Mix it with food or apply it directly—pets enjoy the beef-flavored taste. Start low, especially if your pet is new to full-spectrum, and watch how they respond over a week.
CBG oil for pets offers a unique cannabinoid boost. Use it similarly to CBD oil—start with 2-4mg for small pets or 5-8mg for larger ones, once or twice daily. Drizzle it on their favorite treat or into their mouth with the dropper. It pairs well with CBD products for a balanced approach. Keep it consistent for a few weeks to see how your pet feels.
Premeasured biscuits, treats, and chews (5mg or 10mg) are great for convenience and picky eaters—just offer them as a snack. Oils (CBD, full-spectrum CBD, or CBG) allow for adjustable dosing and faster absorption, ideal for pets needing tailored support. Try treats for ease or oils for flexibility—combine them if your pet enjoys both!
For best results, use CBD biscuits, treats, chews, or oils daily for at least 3 weeks. Consistency helps your pet’s endocannabinoid system adjust. Whether you choose 5mg treats, 10mg chews, or a few drops of oil, stick with it and tweak the amount based on your pet’s size and needs over time.
