What full spectrum means

Full spectrum keeps everything the hemp plant produces — CBD alongside minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBN, plus terpenes and flavonoids, and trace THC below the federal 0.3% limit. Nothing is separated out.

That's the difference from the other two categories. Isolate is CBD separated from everything else, leaving purified CBD with no THC and no hemp taste. Broad spectrum keeps multiple cannabinoids but has the THC removed — we don't make broad spectrum products. Our full spectrum vs. isolate guide covers the comparison in more detail.

• Full Spectrum CBD Oil — a strawberry tincture in 1,000 mg (1 oz), 2,000 mg (2 oz), and 3,000 mg (2 oz), made with organic MCT oil. The strawberry works with hemp's natural flavor rather than trying to cover it.
• Full Spectrum CBD Oil for Pets — in 500 mg(1 oz), 1,000 mg (1 oz), and 2,000 mg (2 oz), dosed and flavored for animals.

How to use the tincture

Shake the bottle, place the oil under your tongue, hold for 30 to 60 seconds, then swallow. Start at the low end for your body weight, stay there for a few days, and adjust from there.

The chart below shows what each dropper marking delivers from each bottle strength, alongside suggested servings by weight.

Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place. Talk to your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any medication, particularly anything metabolized by the liver. Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal, but state rules vary — check yours before ordering.

How to use the pet tincture

Shake well, then add drops to food or give directly. Food is easier for most animals and there's no disadvantage. The chart below lists servings by body weight, starting at 2 lbs, so cats and small dogs are covered directly rather than scaled down from a larger figure.

Talk to your vet before starting any CBD product with an animal, particularly one on medication.

How to use the massage oil

Warm a small amount between your hands before applying, then work in with slow, circular motions. It's formulated not to absorb quickly, which is what makes it work for a massage and why it feels heavier than a body cream. Reapply as you go. This one is full spectrum, so if you're using it on someone else, they should know it contains trace THC.

Tested every batch

An independent lab tests every batch for cannabinoid potency and for THC, pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents, and we publish the certificate of analysis before a product goes on sale. With full spectrum in particular, the THC figure is worth reading yourself rather than taking on trust.

Things to know before you buy

Everything here contains THC

That's what full spectrum means. It's trace — below the federal 0.3% limit — but it's present, and it can produce a positive result on a THC screen. If you're subject to workplace or athletic drug testing, choose isolate instead. Our CBD vs. THC guide explains what does and doesn't show up.

Read the bottle size, not just the milligrams

The number on the label is the total for the whole bottle, and our bottles come in two sizes. The 1,000 mg is a 1 oz bottle; the 2,000 mg and 3,000 mg are 2 oz.

That has a consequence worth knowing. The 2,000 mg is the same concentration as the 1,000 mg — same 33 mg from a full dropper — in twice the volume. You're not getting a stronger oil, you're getting twice as many doses, which makes it the value buy rather than a step up. The 3,000 mg is the genuinely more concentrated one, at roughly 50 mg per dropper.

If you assumed the 2,000 was twice the strength of the 1,000 and halved your amount accordingly, you'd be taking half what you meant to. The chart above is the reliable way to check.

About the entourage effect

You'll see this term everywhere in CBD marketing: the idea that hemp's compounds work better together than in isolation. It's a plausible hypothesis and an active area of research, but the human evidence is thin and it isn't a settled fact. We'd rather say that than sell you on it. The concrete, verifiable difference between full spectrum and isolate is what's in the bottle — more cannabinoids and terpenes, and trace THC — and you can read that off the lab report.

Full spectrum tastes like hemp

Because nothing is separated out, full spectrum carries hemp's natural earthy flavor in a way isolate doesn't. Our strawberry flavoring works with that rather than masking it. If you'd rather taste nothing at all, the peppermint isolate is the cleaner option.

Pet products are formulated separately

Our pet range starts at 500 mg where the human tincture starts at 1,000, and it's flavored and dosed for animals rather than people. Don't substitute a human tincture for a pet one or scale a human amount down by guesswork. Animals are more sensitive to THC than people are, so if that's a concern, our isolate pet tincture is THC-free — and worth raising with your vet either way.

Ingredients and allergens

Tinctures use organic MCT oil. The massage oil contains jojoba and sweet almond oils. MCT oil is coconut-derived, and the FDA classifies both coconut and almond as tree nuts. Full ingredient lists are on every product page. Tinctures keep for 18 months from purchase.
