Start with the 250 mg
Cats are small, and that's the whole design problem. Our measurement chart covers animals from 2 lbs upward, and at the low end you're working with fractions of a dropper — which is far easier to do accurately from a 250 mg bottle than from a 1,000 mg one.
The 250 mg is isolate-based and the only tincture we make at that strength. For most cats, it's the one to start with. The stronger bottles are built for dogs.
Three formulations
- CBD Oil for Pets — isolate-based and THC-free, in 250, 500, and 1,000 mg (1 oz) and 2,000 mg (2 oz). CBD alone, nothing else from the plant. The only one available at 250 mg.
- CBD & CBG Oil for Pets — 1:1 CBD to CBG, in 500, 1,000, and 2,000 mg. Also THC-free.
- Full Spectrum CBD Oil for Pets — 500, 1,000, and 2,000 mg. Keeps hemp's complete cannabinoid profile including trace THC below the federal limit. Cats are more sensitive to THC than dogs are, and dogs more than people — so this is the one to discuss with your vet rather than choose on your own.
Working out an amount
Our pet measurement chart lists servings by body weight and shows exactly what each dropper marking delivers from each bottle strength. It starts at 2 lbs, so cats are covered directly rather than scaled down from a dog figure.
Start at the low end for your cat's weight and stay there for a while before changing anything. Consistency matters more than quantity — daily use over several weeks tells you far more than a larger amount for a few days.
Giving it to a cat
Cats notice things. Adding drops to wet food generally works better than dry, since the oil clings rather than pooling at the bottom of the bowl, and something strongly flavoured — a spoonful of whatever they already love — covers it best. Mixing into a small portion they'll finish is better than a full bowl they might leave half of, since you won't know how much they actually got.
If your cat refuses food that's been touched, some owners have better luck with a drop on a paw, which gets groomed off. Straight into the mouth works for a tolerant cat and is a fight with most.
Shake the bottle first, and store it upright somewhere cool and dark.
Tested every batch
An independent lab tests every batch for cannabinoid potency and for THC, pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents, and we publish the certificate of analysis before a product goes on sale. That matters more with a cat than almost anything else we sell — they're small enough that potency accuracy counts, and they can't tell you if something's off.

Things to know before you buy
A stronger bottle isn't better value for a cat
With a large dog, buying up in strength lowers your cost per milligram. With a cat it works against you — you'd be measuring a smaller and smaller fraction of a dropper, which is harder to get right and easier to overshoot. The 250 mg is the right bottle for most cats even though it's the least concentrated.
Cats are not small dogs
They're more sensitive across the board, and they metabolise things differently. Don't scale a dog amount down by weight, and don't use a human product on a cat — our human tinctures start at 1,000 mg in flavours built for people.
Give it time
Several weeks of consistent daily use before deciding anything. A single dose tells you very little, and cats are not forthcoming.
When to check with your vet
Worth a conversation if your cat is on medication, is elderly, or has an existing health condition — cannabinoids interact with several drug classes commonly prescribed to cats. Same goes if you're unsure where to start, since your vet knows your cat's weight and history.
