How to use them

Topicals — apply to the area and massage in. A little goes a long way at these concentrations; reapply as you like.

Tinctures — hold under the tongue for 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing. Start small and adjust from there.

Gummies — one gummy, chewed thoroughly. Fixed dose, no measuring. Start with half of the 50 mg strawberry gummy.

Softgels — one capsule with water, like any other supplement. Swallowed rather than held under the tongue, so they take longer to absorb than a tincture.

Bath — one bath bomb or a scoop of salts in warm water, and soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

Talk to your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any medication, particularly anything metabolized by the liver. Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal, but state rules vary — check yours before ordering.

An independent lab tests every batch for cannabinoid potency and for pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants, and we publish the certificate of analysis before a product goes on sale. Things to know before you buy

Topical or ingestible, or both

A topical goes on one area and stays there. An ingestible circulates. Plenty of customers use both — a tincture, gummy, or softgel as part of a routine, a salve or roll-on on a particular spot — and they aren't alternatives to each other. If you're only buying one thing to start, a topical is the easier place to begin: you can feel where you put it, and you'll know within days whether you like it.

Why topicals have such big numbers on them

A 6,000 mg salve isn't a hundred times stronger than a 50 mg gummy. A topical's count covers the entire jar and gets spread across an area of skin, where a gummy's covers a single dose. The two numbers aren't comparable. Compare topicals to other topicals.

Tincture, gummy, or softgel

A tincture held under the tongue absorbs faster than the other two, which are swallowed and go through digestion. The dropper also lets you take any amount you like, where a gummy or softgel is fixed. Gummies taste like something; softgels taste like nothing, which some people prefer. Choose a tincture to fine-tune, a gummy or softgel if you'd rather not think about it.

Salve, roll-on, cream, or oil

They differ mostly in texture and how you apply them. The salve is firm and concentrated, worked in with your fingers. The roll-on glides on without touching it, which matters for a neck or shoulder you're reaching over. The night cream and foot cream are thicker. The massage oil is the only one designed to stay slippery rather than absorb, which is what makes it work for a massage and impractical for anything else.

Scent matters more than you'd think

These get used on hands, feet, shoulders, and necks — places where you'll smell it for hours. The roll-on and CBD + CBG salve are noticeably mentholated. If you're applying something at work or before bed, the unscented salve is there for a reason.

Three products here contain THC

Our strawberry full spectrum tincture retains trace THC below the federal limit. The 50 mg strawberry gummy contains 1.74 mg per gummy, and our softgels contain 1 mg per capsule. Ingredients and allergens

Our topicals are made with organic coconut oil, beeswax, and essential oils. The massage oil contains jojoba, and [CONFIRM: our massage oil is listed elsewhere as containing almond oil]. Gummies are vegan and gluten-free; some contain coconut oil. The FDA classifies coconut and almond as tree nuts. Beeswax means most topicals here are not vegan, and [CONFIRM whether the softgel capsule is gelatin or plant-based].
