What CBN is
CBN — cannabinol — occurs naturally in hemp, but it forms differently from the other cannabinoids. Where the plant converts a shared precursor into CBD and THC as it grows, CBN develops afterward, as THC ages and breaks down. That's why it turns up in older plant material in higher concentrations than in fresh, and why hemp contains very little of it compared to CBD.
Because it's scarce, CBN costs considerably more to produce. It's chemically distinct from CBD rather than a stronger version of it. Our CBD vs. CBN guide goes further.
A true 1:1
Our lemon tincture splits evenly between the two cannabinoids. The 2,000 mg bottle holds 1,000 mg of CBD and 1,000 mg of CBN; the 4,000 mg holds 2,000 mg of each.
That's worth checking against anything else you're considering. CBN is expensive enough that plenty of products carry it in the name and only a token amount in the bottle — a few milligrams alongside a much larger dose of CBD. Read the lab report rather than the label, on ours or anyone's.
How to use it
Shake the bottle. Draw oil into the dropper, place it under your tongue, and hold for 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing — that's what makes a tincture a tincture, and skipping the hold turns it into a slower-acting edible. Start with a small amount, stay with it for a few days, and adjust from there.
It also mixes into food and drink, and the lemon carries well in tea or anything citrus. Don't heat it hard — cannabinoids degrade at high temperatures. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place; heat and light degrade oils faster than time alone does.
Talk to your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any medication, particularly anything metabolized by the liver. Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal, but state rules vary — check yours before ordering.

Things to know before you buy
Oil or gummy
We make CBN in two ingestible formats. This tincture is held under the tongue, so it absorbs faster than something swallowed, and the dropper lets you take any amount you like. Our CBN gummy is fixed at 40 mg — 30 mg CBD with 10 mg CBN — and goes through digestion, so it's slower but simpler. Choose the oil if you want control, the gummy if you'd rather not think about it.
Why the stronger bottle is the better buy
The number on the bottle is the total for the whole bottle, not per dose. Every dropper holds about 1 ml regardless of which bottle it came from — what changes between the 2,000 mg and the 4,000 mg is concentration, not the dropper.
The 4,000 mg bottle doesn't cost twice what the 2,000 mg does, so stepping up lowers your cost per milligram, which is the number that matters. And if you want a smaller amount, use less of the dropper. A stronger bottle is never harder to dose down.
It's THC-free

Ingredients
Organic MCT coconut oil, CBD isolate, CBN isolate, and organic lemon flavoring. Gluten-free. MCT oil is coconut-derived, and the FDA classifies coconut as a tree nut. Shelf life is 18 months from purchase.
