ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR

Justin Fogel, the facilitator for Leanna Organics' breathwork session, has been passionately creating music for breathwork since 2015. Prior to the pandemic, he hosted bi-weekly sessions in Boulder, providing a dedicated space for individuals to explore the transformative power of breath and music. Additionally, Justin has shared his expertise at numerous music festivals, yoga festivals, and private events, enriching the breathwork experience for a wide range of participants.

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?

Breathwork a practice involving conscious and intentional breathing techniques, has been used for centuries in various cultures worldwide. It offers a wide range of benefits to the nervous system, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By consciously altering the breath pattern, we can positively influence our autonomic nervous system, which regulates our body's stress response.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During the breathwork healing session you will be guided through various breathing exercises designed to activate the body's relaxation response. Deep, rhythmic, circular breathing can help release physical tension, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of calm and peace. The session will be led by experienced facilitators who will create a safe and supportive environment for your journey inward.

 

WHY LEANNA ORGANICS'  BREATHWORK?

Leanna Organics partnered with an expert musician/breathwork facilitator who plays live musical instruments over prerecorded tracks. The use of live musical instruments guides the participants into deep relaxation. The faciliator will help you sync your breath with the rhythm, allowing the music to take you deeper into your experience.

The unique live music and deep rhythmic breath open the door to the subconscious, and a curious, gentle, holding of difficult emotions along with ciclical breathing can release them. This letting go of heavy energy in the mind and body through awareness and breath can provoke profound healing and transformation.

 

WHAT TYPE OF INSTRUMENTS?

Breathwork is generally considered a safe practice when done under proper guidance. Participating in breathwork sessions led by experienced facilitators who can provide a safe and supportive environment is crucial. The facilitators are trained to address any physical or emotional discomfort that may arise during the session. Additionally, participants are encouraged to communicate their needs and limitations to ensure a tailored and safe experience. When practiced responsibly, breathwork can be a transformative and healing modality. Our facilitator is trauma-informed, and we will have a trained therapist on-site for this event to support anyone that needs help.

Leanna Organics CBD; 3003 W 104th Ave #400 Westminster CO 80031. We are right next to Bahama Bucks on 104th and Federal.

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

A yoga mat and eye cover. We have ten yoga mats and ten eye covers available at our shop to borrow or purchase. We are expecting between 15-20 people.

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear something comfortable—yoga pants, sweat pants, etc.

 

HOW LONG WILL THE EVENT BE?

One hours and 30 minutes. There will be a quick intro, 45 minutes of breathwork, and a sharing and grounding time at the end. We will serve fruits and refreshment at the end.

 

DO YOU LIE DOWN FOR THIS EVENT?

Yes. Please bring your yoga mat and eye cover. Also a small pillow if you would like extra neck support.
